SPIBA ✕ "Collected Works" Project
We continue, together with DK Lurie, to bring you meetings with outstanding contemporaries! This time — with a living classic of the Russian theatre stage, joined, as always, by Lev Lurie and Alexander Malich. As ever, the depth and charisma of the former and the light irony and breadth of knowledge of the latter will make for a rich and unpredictable conversation. And, as always, it will be about St. Petersburg — what its places, people, and events mean to a guest from Moscow.
Format: a blend of a Friday-evening social outing and a unique meeting of three fascinating city figures — one Muscovite and two Petersburgers — where a welcome reception and a closing digestif are an integral part of the programme:

Speakers:
Valery Fokin — an outstanding theatre director, a Muscovite who heads St. Petersburg's Alexandrinsky Theatre. He has received, it seems, nearly every major theatrical and artistic award, prize, and title there is. Remaining in remarkable creative form, he continues to release widely discussed premieres.
Lev Lurie — a well-known writer, historian, local history expert, essayist, and TV host.
Alexander Malich — a well-known journalist, producer, and director of the Alexandrinsky Theatre.
