Colleagues will share their experience in two related disputes in which a third party terminated the company's trademark, and colleagues succeeded in restoring it by timely filing an application for early termination of the opponent's trademark.
- How to reverse the outcome of a labor dispute in favor of the employer: a case study from Acsour.
This presentation will feature a real-life case from Acsour demonstrating how employer interests can be protected in the face of initially unfavorable judicial practice. Despite the fact that over 95% of similar claims are granted by the courts, we were able to reduce the plaintiff's claims and compensation for moral damages. We will examine key stages of the process: document analysis, developing a legal position, preparing reasoned defenses, and litigation tactics. We will share conclusions that will help companies minimize risks in labor disputes.
- Corporate vs. Family and Inheritance Law: Intersecting Interests and Clashing Principles
How to resolve a conflict at the intersection of corporate, family, and inheritance relations?
Сolleagues will present a unique case in which the deceased company member's spouse claimed the right to corporate participation and a share in the authorized capital. She was opposed by the current members and the company's CEO, who defended the corporate interests.
We will discuss not only the substantive and legal aspects of the dispute but also procedural nuances, including notarization and law enforcement practices.
